How to reset your Epic Games password

If you don’t have access to your account, see this article: How to reset your Epic Games password if you can’t log in to your account.

  1. Sign in to your Epic Games account, and then open the Password and security (Opens in a new tab) settings.
    Note: You may be required to complete Two-factor authentication (2FA) before you can access this page. If you lost access to your 2FA method, you can try the steps here My Authenticator app or SMS two-factor authentication (2FA) has locked me out of my account
  2. Scroll down to Change your password section and select Change password button.
  3. Enter your current password in the Current password field.
  4. Enter the new password you’d like to use in the New password field.
    Note that your password must not be the same as your last 5 passwords used. It must have more than seven characters, including at least one number, at least one letter, and no spaces.
  5. Press Confirm.

You will also receive a confirmation email about the successful password change.
