How do I change the platform account I have linked to my Epic Games account?

If you are looking to change the platform account connected to your Epic Games account, follow the steps below:

If the account you are changing is a console account (PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox) please follow How do I change the console account I have connected to my Epic Games account? instead of the steps below. For all other platform accounts, continue to the next step.
If you are looking to link or sign in with Facebook, Google+ or Apple accounts, please follow How do I sign in with Facebook, Google+, or Apple or link them to my Epic account? instead of the steps below. For all other platform accounts, continue to the next step.
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- A computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
Open a browser (in incognito mode if possible) on your computer or mobile device and go to www.epicgames.com (Opens in a new tab)
On the top-right of the site, click the Sign in button

Note: If you do not see a Sign in button, click the avatar at the top of the screen and click Sign Out to ensure you are not signed into the wrong account. Once signed out, click the Sign in button.
Sign in with the Epic Games account that you used for linking the platform by selecting its respective logo on the Sign in page
Once logged in, go to Linked accounts (Opens in a new tab)
Locate the account you want to remove and click Unlink (For this example, we will be removing a Steam account)
Follow the instructions in the prompts you see to complete unlinking
Once the process finishes, you will see a message that the account was removed
