There are two types of errors that could occur when trying to delete your account. See the steps below for each error type
Internal Service Error
- If you receive the internal service error shown below, this means that we are working to resolve the issue, and you will have to try again later.
- If you continue to receive the error, click CONTACT US and submit a support ticket.
Issue when processing the deletion
- If you receive the error "There was an issue processing your deletion request, please try again later."
Try the following:
- Make sure your email address associated to the Epic Games account is verified. Click here to find the steps on how to verify the email.
- If you get the error while going through the security code step, re-enter the code and try again.
If you still receive the error, click the Resend Security Code. A new code will be sent to the email address associated with your Epic Games account.
- If you still receive the error, click the Player Support link and submit a support ticket.
