Why is a game listed as Unavailable or not visible on the Epic Games Store?
There are a few reasons why the content is not visible or listed as unavailable on the Epic Games Store
- Your account already owns the content that's included in the product.
For example, if you purchase Borderlands 3 Standard Edition, you won’t be able to purchase the Deluxe, Super Deluxe, or Ultimate Editions.
Note: If you're unable to purchase an upgrade to a different version of the game, you can request a refund. If you're eligible for a refund and once it is processed, you'll be able to purchase another version of the game. - Your account is located in a region where the game is not available to purchase. Region restrictions are handled by the developer of the game, and Epic Games Player Support can't remove these upon request.
- EU Players: If a developer has not completed the required self-identification process, you may not be able to purchase or acquire their products in the EU. You may still see product pages, but there will be a message indicating the product is unavailable in your region.
Note: We have implemented a new process for developers and publishers In order to comply with the Digital Services Act (DSA) (Opens in a new tab), a new European Union law. The DSA requires online marketplaces like ours to share information about sellers. For more details on the DSA requirements, please visit Understanding Marketplace Requirements. (Opens in a new tab)- You will have access to products you’ve already purchased or claimed for free.
- This change only affects EU players and products from developers who haven’t completed the required process.
