"Your Email could not be delivered" error when responding to an Epic Games support ticket

If you get the error "Your Email could not be delivered" when you reply to an email from Epic Games Support, your email app could not send your message to us.
This is usually a problem with the email app, not with your Epic Games account or your ticket. We did not receive your reply, so your ticket has not been updated.

Try these options in order. The first one works even if your email app keeps failing.

  • Reply on the Epic Games help site without using your email

  1. Sign in on the My Requests (Opens in a new tab) page.

  2. Select the ticket you want to reply to.

  3. Type your message in the text field at the bottom of the conversation, attach any files we asked for, and select Send.

Sign in with the same Epic Games account you used to submit the ticket. Only tickets from that account are shown. For more options, refer to How to view and manage your Epic Games support tickets
If you open the My Requests (Opens in a new tab) page, but you do not see any tickets and are moved back to the support main page, the account you are logged in has no support tickets.
  • Reply from your email in a web browser

  1. Sign in to your email inbox in a web browser instead of your email app.

  2. Open our message and select Reply all.

  3. Type your message above the existing text.

  4. Send your reply.

Always use Reply all and leave the original message in place. Every email from us ends with a reference ID that looks like "ref:...:ref". That ID connects your reply to your ticket, so do not change or delete it or anything below your message.
