This is a generic network configuration error.
We've found that enabling IPv6 can help resolve this issue:
Windows 11
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard.
- In the search field type: control panel
- Select Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, set the View By option to Category.
- Select Network and Internet.
- Select Network and Sharing Center.
- Select the Change adapter settings link on the left-hand side.
- Right-click on your active network adapter.
- Select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
- Ensure that Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) is checked ☑
- Click the OK button to save the changes.
Windows 10
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard.
- Select Settings (gear icon).
- Select Network and Internet.
- Select Status in the left column.
- Select Change adapter options.
- Right-click on your active network adapter.
- Select Properties.
- Ensure that Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) is checked ☑
- Click the OK button to save the changes.
If enabling this did not fix the issue, please check if you have an antivirus program running on your computer. If so temporarily disable the antivirus and try running the game again. This test is to see if the antivirus in interfering. If the issue is resolved reach out to the antivirus support for further assistance
