How do I create a shortcut for games?

A shortcut provides easy access to your favorite games directly from your desktop without launching the Epic Games Launcher.

To create a shortcut:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher
2. Go to the Library page in the Epic Games Launcher window.
3. Find the game for which you want to create the shortcut.
4. Click on the three dots on the right side of the game line.
5. Select the Manage option from the menu.
6. Click the Create button.

If you encounter an issue with the method above, try the following:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher
2. Go to the Library page in the Epic Games Launcher window.
3. Find the game for which you want to create the shortcut.
4. Click on the three dots on the right side of the game line.
5. Select the Manage option from the menu.
6. Click the Folder Icon next to the Uninstall button to open the folder where the game is installed.
7. Locate the application (.exe) file used to start the game (e.g., FortniteLauncher.exe)
8. Right-click on the .exe file.
9. Select Create Shortcut.
10. Move the created shortcut to your Desktop.
