How do I report a player in Sideswipe?
If you would like to report a player, you can do so with one of the following options:
While in a Match:
Open the Settings menu
Select Report/Block Player
Select the player’s username
Select Report
Select one or more of the reporting reasons
After a Match:
Go to the main menu
Open your friends list
Select the Recent Players tab
Find the player
Select their username
Select Report Player
Select one or more of the reporting reasons
Reporting reasons
Text harassment: Offensive language in text chat
Match throwing or griefing: Scoring own goals, intentionally disturbing teammate's movements, smurfing, etc.
Intentionally idle: Not moving or only moving slighly during a match
Inappropriate player name: The player's name is upsetting or offensive
You can select more than one reason. For example, if a teammate is harassing you in team chat, and is also own-goaling, you can select both Text Harassment and Match Throwing or Griefing.
Psyonix has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to harassment of any kind. We will act on violations of the Code of Conduct (Opens in a new tab). This can include permanent game bans in the most extreme cases. When a chat or game ban is placed on an account, each additional violation will increase the length of the ban.
