Epic Games Launcher: Unsupported Graphics Card error (Windows 7)
If you are running Windows 7 and receiving an Unsupported Graphics Card error when using the Epic Games Launcher, you can usually resolve your problem by downloading this update from the Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36805 (Opens in a new tab).
If this doesn't solve the issue, you can try the following:
- Exit the Epic Games Launcher completely.
- Right-click the Epic Games Launcher shortcut.
- Click Properties.
- At the end of the target line, add -opengl. Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win32\EpicGamesLauncher.exe" -opengl
- Click Apply.
- Try to launch the launcher and see if you're able to run it without any issues.
