Why do I get Error 200_1040 on Epic Games Store with Fall Guys?

If you receive this error, please try verifying the game files and restarting the game.

Verifying the integrity of your game files will compare the files on your computer with the ones on the Epic servers. If some files are different, they'll be changed or repaired. Your saved data will not be affected.

To verify game files on the Epic Game Store version of Fall Guys:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Find Fall Guys in your Epic Games Library.
3. Click the three dots on the right side of the Fall Guys line.
4. Select Manage.
5. Click the Verify button.
6. Wait for validation to complete.
7. Launch Fall Guys.
   Note: It may take a few minutes to verify all your files.
