Cross-platform play currently disabled Fortnite error on Xbox
When Launching Fortnite with Xbox you may encounter the error "Cross-platform play currently disabled." Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you may try to fix this error.
- Make sure Fortnite crossplay on Xbox is turned on (note: if it is already turned on you may toggle it off first and turn it back on)

To delete your Xbox local save for Fortnite follow the steps below1. Quit or make sure Fortnite is closed
2. Press the Xbox to open the guide and select My games & apps > See all > Games.
3. Select Fortnite, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
4. Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
5. Select Delete All to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
6. After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox by pressing and holding the Xbox button in the center of your controller. > Select Restart console, then follow the prompts. - Reinstall Fortnite
