"Failed to download Asset Keychain" error message

If you're seeing this error in Fortnite while playing on PC, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Note: These steps will delete your Fortnite game settings.

1. Close Fortnite and the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Hold the Windows Key.
3. Tap the R key.
   The run window will open.
4. In the Run field type: %localappdata%
5. Right-click on the folder: FortniteGame
6. Select Delete.
7. Restart your computer.
8. Right-click on Epic Games Launcher.
9. Select Run as Administrator.
10. Select Library in the left column.
11. Find Fortnite.
12. Click on the Meatball menu (3 horizontal dots).
13. Select Manage.
14. Select Verify.
15. Launch Fortnite.
