Fortnite isn't saving my language

If your language isn't saving when you restart Fortnite, these steps should resolve this for you:

  1. Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
  2. Open GameUserSettings
  3. At the end of the file, add:
    [Internationalization]
    Culture=en-US
  4. Save the file.

The Culture should be the language abbreviation you want. Below is a list of all the languages we support:

  • Arabic: Culture=ar
  • German: Culture=de
  • English: Culture=en
  • Spanish: Culture=es
  • French: Culture=fr
  • Italian: Culture=it
  • Japanese: Culture=ja
  • Korean: Culture=ko
  • Polish: Culture=pl
  • Portuguese (Brazil): Culture=pt-BR
  • Russian: Culture=ru
  • Turkish: Culture=tr
