How to fix the ESP-MAN-ARCHIVE error
If you receive the ESP-MAN-ARCHIVE error when launching Fortnite, try restarting Fortnite and your device. If it persists, try following these steps, depending on your platform:
PC
- Close Fortnite.
- Close the Epic Games Launcher
- Right-clicking the Epic Games Launcher system tray icon in the bottom right corner of your taskbar
- Select Exit
- Press the Windows + R on your keyboard. This will open the Run command window.
- Type %localappdata% and click OK. This will open File Explorer.
- Click the FortniteGame folder.
- Right click the Saved folder.
- Click Delete.
- Relaunch the Epic Games Launcher and restart Fortnite.
PlayStation
- Highlight Fortnite and press the Options button on your controller.
- Select Delete
- Click OK to confirm
- Reinstall Fortnite.
Xbox
- On the Home page, select My Games & Apps.
- Go to the Games tab and highlight Fortnite.
- Press the Menu button on your controller.
- Select Uninstall.
- Reinstall Fortnite.
Nintendo Switch
- Highlight Fortnite.
- Press the + button on your Joy-Con.
- Select Manage Software.
- Select Delete Software.
- Reinstall Fortnite
