How to fix the issue where the new season trailer plays every time I launch Fortnite?

If the new season trailer starts playing every time you start Fortnite on PC, please try the following:

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Type %localappdata%, and then press Enter.
  3. Navigate to \FortniteGame\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\.
  4. Right-click GameUserSettings.ini, and then click Properties.
  5. Uncheck the Read-Only checkbox.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Launch Fortnite.
