My rendering mode option in Fortnite was not saved

If your selected rendering mode doesn't stay saved after restarting Fortnite, follow these steps to set it using command line options in the Epic Games Launcher.

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Click Settings.
4. Scroll down and expand Fortnite.
5. Check the box for Additional Command Line Arguments.
6. Clear any existing command lines in the field.
7. Enter the command line that matches your preferred rendering mode:
   • DirectX 12: -d3d12 -sm6
   • Performance: -d3d12 -FeatureLevelEs31
   • DirectX 11: -d3d11 -sm5
   • Legacy Performance (Deprecated): -d3d11 -FeatureLevelEs31
