Why am I seeing mouse and keyboard prompts while using a PlayStation or Xbox controller in Fortnite?
Following the release of Fortnite patch v31.10 on September 3rd, 2024, you may see mouse and keyboard prompts while using your console controller and have issues building, editing, shooting or interacting with the game menu.
To help resolve this issue, please follow below steps:
- Clear your console's cache and restart it: How do I clear or reset my device's cache?
- Restore your Keyboard and Mouse settings to default in Fortnite game settings.
- Restart Fortnite.
