Why do I receive "Minors cannot set an alias" error in Fortnite when I'm not a minor?

We are aware that some players can receive an error "Minors cannot set an alias" when adding a nickname to a friend's account despite having an account that is not marked as a minor. Our team is investigating the issue and is looking to fix it in a future update.
