Why do the Item Shop and Buy V-Bucks appear empty on PlayStation?
This could be caused by a license or cache issues.
Restore the License:
PlayStation 5
- Go to Settings.
- Select Users and Accounts.
- Select Other.
- Select Restore Licenses.
- Select Restore.
PlayStation 4
- Go to Settings.
- Select Account Management.
- Select Restore Licenses.
- Select Restore.
Clear cache files and Rebuild database in Safe Mode:
PlayStation 5
- Turn off your console by pressing the power button.
Note: The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off. - Once the system is off, press and hold the power button again.
- Release it after you hear the second beep.
Note: One beep will sound when you first press, and another seven seconds later. - Connect the controller with the USB cable.
- Press the PlayStation button on the controller.
- Select Rebuild Database.
PlayStation 4
- Turn off the PlayStation 4 by pressing the Power Button on the front panel.
Note: The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off. - Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the Power Button.
Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later. - Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable.
- Press the PS button on the controller.
- Select Rebuild Database from the menu.
This scans the drive and creates a new database of all content.
This operation may take a while depending on the type and number of data items.
