Why am I getting matchmaking error #1, #2, or #3 in Fortnite?
You may receive matchmaking errors when queueing in to play Fortnite Battle Royale or Creative mode. The errors below are mainly caused by a server maintenance or a network connection issue:
Matchmaking error (#1): Weird. We couldn't connect to the match. You can try again, but if the problem continues, check our status page (Opens in a new tab).
Matchmaking error (#2): We had trouble connecting to content beacon service. Give it another shot, if the problem continues, check our status page (Opens in a new tab).
Matchmaking error (#2): You don’t have permission to play this content. Oh no, you might be trying to play in a competitive event where you may not meet all the requirements. See Why can’t I join a Fortnite Tournament?
Matchmaking error (#3): Looks like all the Battle Buses headed out are full. Give it another shot in a few minutes, if it keeps up, visit our status page (Opens in a new tab).
