I get an "Unknown error while communicating with Rocket League Servers" error when I try to trade-in
If you're receiving this error while trying to trade-in in Rocket League, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:
- Make sure all your items meet the Trade-in requirements per What is the trade-in feature in Rocket League?
- Restart the game and try again after a few minutes.
- If the issue isn't solved, check for connectivity issues by following the steps in this article: Rocket League Connectivity Issues
- If the issue persists, you might be affected by a bug that causes items to show up in the Trade-In menu even if you don't have any duplicates to Trade-In; items that are not duplicates cannot be traded in. We are investigating this issue.
