Why don’t Rocket League items come Painted in all colors?

Sometimes it is decided that items should not be released in certain Painted colors. This is often because the default color is similar to a Painted color, or the new Painted item looks too much like another Painted item.

We do our best to catch all of these before release. If it is decided that a Painted item needs to be changed, we try to make it right by replacing that item with a different item paint color. This is what happened when we swapped out Crimson-Painted Peppermint Wheels (Opens in a new tab).
