How can I troubleshoot Syncing Failed error message in Rocket League?

The clock on your PC or console must be accurate in order for Rocket League to connect to the servers. If you are unable to connect or see a Syncing Failed error like the one below, please follow the steps for your platform to sync the clock to an Internet time server.

Windows

  1. Right-click the clock on the Taskbar.
  2. Choose Adjust date/time.
  3. Toggle the On Switch for Set Time Automatically.
  4. Toggle the On Switch for Set Time Zone Automatically.
  5. Click Sync Now.

PlayStation

  1. Start your PlayStation.
  2. Open the Settings app from the Main Menu.
  3. Select Date and Time.
  4. Select the checkbox for Set Automatically.
  5. Uncheck the Adjust Daylight Saving Automatically box.
  6. Re-check the Adjust Daylight Saving Automatically box.

Xbox

  1. Start your Xbox.
  2. Open the Settings app from the Main Menu.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Time.
  5. Uncheck the Automatically adjust for daylight saving time box.
  6. Re-check the Automatically adjust for daylight saving time box.

Nintendo Switch

  1. Start your Switch.
  2. Open the System Settings from the Home Menu.
  3. Scroll down the options on the left and select System.
  4. Select Date and Time on the right-hand side of the screen.
  5. Turn on Synchronize Clock via Internet.

This can also be caused by having too many Replays and Training Sequences. Xbox has 128MB reserved for Saved Replays and Training Sequences. This allows for around 90-100 saves. You can delete Replays and Training Sequences to free up space to fix this error.
