If you followed the instructions to change the email address on your Epic Games account and were unable to change your email, there are two main reasons why:
You don’t have access to the current email on your Epic Games account
If this is the case, click this link to enter some verification information and submit a ticket to our support team.
You haven’t verified the new email address on your Epic Games account yet
When you entered a new email address for your Epic Games account, an automated email containing a verification link was sent to the new address.
If you haven’t verified your new email address, please follow the steps below to do so:
- Log in to your Epic Games account and go to the Account portal.
- In the ACCOUNT INFO section, you’ll see an error message that says: You are limited to only one alternative email. Please check your email at [email address] to verify the address.
- If you have access to the email address you entered, click Resend Email. In your email inbox, locate the verification email, and click VERIFY YOUR EMAIL to finish changing the email address on your account.
- If you don’t have access to the email address you entered, click Cancel. In the pop-up window, click CONFIRM to cancel the email change.
