Why do I receive the error: INVALID STATUS CODE: UNDEFINED when trying to claim the free game, Hogwarts Legacy?

We are aware that some players are unable to claim the free game Hogwarts Legacy via the Epic Games Store due to the error: INVALID STATUS CODE: UNDEFINED.
