DP-01: Not enough permissions

This error indicates that you do not have permission to install the game. To resolve this, try the steps listed below.

1. Disable background applications. Refer to How do I disable background applications?
2. Confirm you're an administrator on your computer. Refer to Manage User Accounts in Windows (Opens in a new tab)
3. Run the Epic Games Launcher as an Administrator. 
   1. Right-click on your Epic Games Launcher shortcut
   2. Click on Run as administrator
4. Confirm you have read/write access to the folder
   1. Navigate to your selected install location.
   2. Right-click and select Properties.
   3. Select the Security tab.
   4. Select your username in the Group or user names box.
   5. Verify that there is a check under Allow beside both Read and Write in the Permissions box.
