LS-0014: Launch Failed error

This error means that the game you’re attempting to launch can’t locate a file or directory that it is pointing to. Try the following troubleshooting steps to ensure that your game has all the necessary files or that a background application is not causing this error to occur. 

1. Verify the game files
   1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
   2. Click on the Library.
   3. Click on the three dots next to the game you want to verify.
      
   4. On the drop-down navigation, click Manage.
   5. Once open, click Verify next to Verify Files from the list of options.
      Note: This process may take a while, depending on the size of the game. Once it’s done, try to launch your game.
2. Disable background applications. Refer to How do I disable background applications?
3. Reinstall the game.
