What do I do when I get an error message that says my V-Bucks card or gift cardis inactive?

If you receive the error "This code has not been activated. Please see your retailer" or "The retailer/distributor has not activated this code," your card is inactive. You must go back to the retailer from which it was purchased. Epic Games Player Support cannot activate an inactive card.
