What are the system requirements for Fortnite on Android?

Fortnite is a high-fidelity game that is compatible with devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 8.0 or higher, minimum 4GB of RAM, and GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

How do I check the specifications of my Android device?

This guide will help you identify the specifications of your Android device to determine it’s capable to run Fortnite.

Go to the Settings.
Look for the option About Phone (It is usually at the bottom of the Settings screen).

Most devices will only have the Model Number and Android Version on it, while others will have complete details about the specs.

If you are unable to find the complete details to determine the compatibility of your device to Fortnite, you can also use your model number to search for it. For example, if you have a Galaxy S10 you can go to your preferred search engine and type "What are the specifications for a Galaxy S10?"

Why does my Android device no longer support Fortnite via the Google Play Store?

When Fortnite launched on the Google Play Store, a configuration error allowed some players to download the game on unsupported devices that didn't meet the game's minimum system requirements. If your device was affected, you will receive a refund from Google for any Fortnite purchases. If you don't receive a refund, please contact Google Play support here.

Why can't I matchmake on my Android device?

Rooted Device

If you’re unable to match make on Android with a message about your device being rooted, an unlocked bootloader, the Android Debug Bridge, or has failed the SafetyNet check this is because your device meets at least one of the above criteria. If this happens, your device will not be able to play Fortnite.

As stated in the message, any attempts to bypass this check may result in an account ban. We understand this is disappointing but Epic Games Player Support is unable to remove this message or ban from your device.

Developer options: USB debugging

Epic doesn’t allow devices to have Developer Options turned on while playing Fortnite on Android. On most Android devices, you can turn off this setting with the following process:

Navigate to Settings.
Scroll to Developer Options.
Toggle Developer Options OFF.
