How do I use my Friends List in Rocket League?

Your Friends Lists will show your display name at the top. If you're on console, your console name will appear at the top, with your Epic Games display name below it. There are several tabs with different information.

Voice Channels

Based on your preferences, you'll join a voice chat room with either your Team or Party. Be sure to check your chat settings to set your preferences. If you are a child with parental controls, your voice chat features may be limited or unavailable.

  • Team Channel: Your teammates in your match
  • Party Channel: Teammates in your current party

Friends List

This tab will have a few drop-down menus:

  • Epic Friends In-Game: Friends from your Epic Friends List that are currently in a match.
  • Platform Friends In-Game: These will appear if you're on a console, such as PlayStation.
  • Party: When you're in a party, the members of your party will appear here.
  • Online: Epic Friends who are online.
  • Offline: Friends who are offline.
  • Hidden: Friends whose IDs are temporarily hidden

Recent Players

The Recent Players tab will show the last 25 players that you have played with or against. It will show players who are not already on your Friends List. From this list, you can view a player’s profile, send them a friend request, block, or report a player.

Club Members

If you're in a Club, your club title will appear at the top of this tab. This will show you which club members are currently online and offline.

Notifications

Pending Friend Requests, Party Invites (an invite to join someone's party), Party Requests (a request for someone to join your party), Club Invites, and other notifications can be found here. If you are a child with parental controls, your parent or guardian’s PIN may be required to send or accept friend requests.

Blocked Players

Blocked players will appear here. For information on how to block players, refer to this article: How can I protect myself from online interactions in Rocket League?
