Why do I see a banner that my operating system is not supported in the Epic Games Store?

Epic Games Store launcher no longer supports some older operating systems. You will still be able to use them, just not in an officially supported manner. Epic will be unable to provide technical support for users of these operating systems, and Launcher features on these operating systems may degrade or stop working over time.

We have discontinued official support for these operating systems:

On Windows:

• Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 (32-bit), all versions of Windows 10 below 1703 (Creators Update).

On MacOS:

This would include all versions of macOS prior to 13.5.

• macOS 10.13 (High Sierra), macOS 10.14 (Mojave), macOS 10.15 (Catalina), macOS 11.x (Big Sur), macOS 12.x (Monterey), macOS 13.0-13.4 (Ventura).
