Why did I receive a refund after sending a gift on the Epic Games Store?

  • The gift was rejected or expired. Gifts expire 14 days after being sent. Unclaimed gifts are automatically refunded to the sender.
  • The game became unavailable before the gift was accepted. The gift is canceled and refunded in this case.
