How do I get the Fernet outfit in Fortnite from the Kernel Hearts purchase?

You can obtain the Fernet Outfit by pre-purchasing or purchasing Kernel Hearts on the Epic Games Store on or after August 17, 2026, at 1 PM ET. The outfit will be automatically granted to your Fortnite account. The Fernet Outfit will also be purchasable separately in the Fortnite Item Shop from September 26, 2026, at 8 PM ET.

If you have already purchased the Fernet Outfit from the Item Shop, you will receive a one-time grant of 1,500 V-Bucks after purchasing Kernel Hearts instead of the Fernet Outfit.

If you gift Kernel Hearts to a friend through the Epic Games Store, your friend will receive the Fernet Outfit in Fortnite, or V-Bucks if they already purchased the Fernet Outfit.
