IS-EO-FAILED_OP_START error in Epic Games Launcher
This error can appear when installing, uninstalling, or verifying a game in the Epic Games Launcher. If you then try to cancel the operation, you may also receive an Unknown Error Occurred message.
To try to resolve these errors, follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below:
- Make sure that Use Proxy in the Epic Games Launcher is turned off:
- Open the Epic Games Launcher.
- Click your Profile icon (top-right corner).
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down to the Use Proxy option and ensure it is unchecked.
- Restart the Epic Games Launcher. Refer to How to restart the Epic Games Launcher.
- Reinstall the Epic Online Services (EOS), you can follow the steps from the article Why am I unable to connect to Epic Online Services?
- Attempt starting the installation of your game once again for the EOS to trigger automatically.
