This error occurs when the code has already been redeemed on an Epic Games account.
- Check if you have multiple Epic Games accounts. The code may have been redeemed on a different account you own. Sign in to any other Epic Games accounts you have and check your library or purchase history.
- Confirm you are entering the code correctly. Pay close attention to characters that look similar, such as the number 0 and the letter O, or the number 1 and the letter I.
- If you believe the code should not have been redeemed and was legitimately purchased, contact the retailer where it was purchased with your proof of purchase.
