How do I enable text-to-speech (TTS)?

Text-to-Speech automatically reads incoming text chat messages aloud. It also lets you select text messages to read aloud or begin to read aloud from a certain message. When enabled, the feature will read visible chat messages and identify the sender before speaking the message. This feature is available in English. 

This feature is available on all platforms, including:

• Fortnite
• Epic Games Launcher (PC)
• Epic Games mobile apps

To enable the text-to-speech:

• Go to Communication settings
• Enable the “Read Messages Aloud” option.
