“The player is missing requirements for this gift” error when sending a gift on the Epic Games Store

If you see this message while trying to send a gift, it means the recipient does not own the base game or content required to receive the gift.

Why this happens

How to fix it

1. Ask your friend to check if they own the base game:
   • They can search for the game in their Library
2. If they don’t own the base game:
