Why can't I change to my preferred language in DOOM Eternal?

We are aware that some players can't update their language in DOOM Eternal from the in-game settings or by switching their Epic Games Launcher language. As a temporary workaround DOOM Eternal can be forced to run in a specific language by using launch options:

1. Open Epic Games Launcher. 
2. Select Library.
3. Click the Meatball Menu (three dots) next to DOOM Eternal
4. Select Manage.
5. Scroll down to Launch Options.
6. In the Launch Options section Toggle the slider. 
7. In the field type: +sys_langOverride 1 +sys_lang language
   Example: +sys_langOverride 1 +sys_lang Italian
8. Launch DOOM Eternal.
