How do I get the Fernet Outfit in Fortnite from Kernel Hearts?

You can unlock the Fernet Outfit in Fortnite by purchasing any edition of Kernel Hearts on the Epic Games Store. Purchase date does not affect eligibility for this offer. Refer to the Gift with Purchase (Opens in a new tab) page for eligible items in current promotions.

The Fernet Outfit will be automatically granted to your Fortnite account on or after August 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET.

The Fernet Outfit will also be purchasable separately in the Fortnite Shop from September 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET.

If you've already purchased the Fernet Outfit and then purchase Kernel Hearts through the Epic Games Store, you will receive a one-time grant of 1,500 V-Bucks in Fortnite instead of the outfit.

If you gift Kernel Hearts to a friend through the Epic Games Store, your friend will receive the Fernet Outfit in Fortnite, or 1,500 V-Bucks if they already own the Fernet Outfit.
