Why is my Big Tease Fall Guys Trophy not unlocking on PlayStation?

If you are having trouble unlocking the Big Tease trophy for Fall Guys on PlayStation (perform an emote just before coming first in a course level) please note that you will need to play the full animation of the emote before finishing the course level.
