How Do I Troubleshoot my Xbox for Fall Guys?

 

Before we get started, we recommend power cycling your Xbox. If the issue persists, follow the steps below.

Xbox Assist 

Xbox assist is a feature inbuilt into Xbox designed to help you resolve issues that might occur on the console. 

  1.  Bring up the Xbox Menu.
  2.  Select Xbox Assist.
  3. Follow the steps outlined to try and resolve the issue you are experiencing.

Check that your console has the latest system software installed.

  1. Verify that your console is connected to the internet.
  2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. 
  3. Select Profile & System. 
  4. Select Settings. 
  5. Select Updates.

Under Updates, you’ll see:

  • Console update available: Select this to begin your update, 
  • No console update available: This means your console is up to date.

Clear Saved Data

Clearing your save data can help with some issues experienced on Xbox One and Series X/S

 

Series X/S

  1. On Home, select My games & apps.
  2. Highlight the game.
  3. Press the Menu button on your controller.
  4. Select Manage game & add-ons.
  5. Select the Saved data box,
  6. Select the item you want to delete.
  7. Confirm that you want to delete it.

Xbox One

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  2. Select System. 
  3. Select Settings. 
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Find Manage Storage Devices 
  6. Select Clear local saved games.

Close down the game from the Xbox Menu

If you have Quick Resume turned on, you’ll sometimes want to be able to shut down the game you’re playing fully. To do this,

  1. Open the Xbox Menu.
  2. Select Fall Guys with the Start button.
  3. Select Quit to fully close down the game.

Reinstall Game

Reinstalling the game fully can sometimes help with issues experienced in the game and ensure that you are starting from a clean slate.

  1. Press the Xbox button.
  2. Select My games & apps.
  3. Select See all.
  4. Find Fall Guys. 
  5. Select Uninstall.
