My Epic Balance and V-Bucks are not showing on my Nintendo device

If you add V-Bucks or redeem a Fortnite Gift Card on a non-Nintendo device, the balance won't appear on your Nintendo device. However, you can still use that balance to buy items in the Fortnite Item Shop (Opens in a new tab), and those items will be available on all platforms, including Nintendo.

How to Use Your Balance on a Nintendo Device

If you haven't used your gift card balance to purchase V-Bucks yet, start at Step 1. If you have, skip to Step 4.

1. Visit the Fortnite V-Bucks - Epic Games Store (Opens in a new tab)

2. Log in to your Epic Games account.

3. Use your balance to purchase V-Bucks.

4. Go to the Fortnite Item Shop (Opens in a new tab) and purchase the items you want.

5. Open Fortnite on your Nintendo device. Your purchased items will appear automatically.

Note: V-Bucks purchased or redeemed on a Nintendo device can only be spent on that device. They will not transfer to other platforms.
