Why have I not received my V-bucks after purchase?

After purchasing V-Bucks, they are added to your account when you sign in to Fortnite on the same platform where you made the purchase. V-Bucks purchases do not include redemption codes and cannot be gifted to other accounts.

Note: If you purchased a V-Bucks card, you need to redeem your code separately to receive your V-Bucks. Refer to How to redeem a V-Bucks card for steps.

If your V-Bucks are not showing in-game, try the following:

  1. Restart Fortnite to refresh your V-Bucks balance.
  2. Confirm you are signed in to Fortnite on the same platform where you made the purchase. V-Bucks purchased on PlayStation, for example, require signing in to Fortnite on a PlayStation console.
  3. Confirm you are signed in to the correct Epic Games account. Check that your Epic Games account ID matches your in-game profile. Refer to What is an Epic Games Account ID and where can I find it? for steps.
  4. Check whether your platform is part of the Fortnite Shared Wallet. Refer to Why don't all of my V-Bucks transfer across platforms?
  5. Check your Transaction History (Opens in a new tab) to confirm the purchase completed. If there is no record of the purchase, the transaction did not go through - check with your bank or payment provider before trying again.

If your V-Bucks are still missing after following all steps:

  • If you purchased through PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, contact the relevant platform support team directly, as Epic Games Support cannot process refunds or investigate purchases made on those platforms.
  • If you purchased through the Epic Games Store, submit a support request. Include your order number, the amount of V-Bucks purchased, and the platform you play on.
