Voice chat not working due to ISP or regional VoIP restrictions in Fortnite

If Fortnite voice chat is not working, your internet service provider (ISP), region, or local network may be restricting voice over IP (VoIP) services.

Epic Games does not block specific regions from using Fortnite voice chat. However, some countries, regions, or ISPs may limit or restrict VoIP services.

How to check if VoIP is restricted

1. Try making a voice call on another VoIP service, such as:
   • Discord
   • Zoom
   • WhatsApp 
2. If other VoIP services are also unavailable or unstable, contact your ISP for more information about VoIP restrictions in your area.
3. If other VoIP services work correctly, continue troubleshooting Fortnite voice chat. Refer to How do I fix voice chat issues in Fortnite?

Note: Voice chat availability can change depending on regional policies, ISP routing, or local network restrictions. If you recently traveled, changed your mobile plan, or switched network providers, check if voice chat is restricted on your current network.
