Why did my Fortnite Battle Royale ranking change after update 40.20?

With the release of update 40.20, new improvements to Ranked were introduced, as well as new tiers for Elite and Champion. To account for this, some players' ranked standings may have been recalibrated. To assist them with climbing the ranks, ranked progression starting from Elite will be boosted for one week from April 16th.
