How does voice reporting in Fortnite work?

When you turn on Voice Reporting, the last five minutes of voice chat are recorded. Any audio that is older than 5 minutes is deleted. The recorded audio is kept safe and secure on your device. It stays on your console or PC, not Epic Game servers.

If you report a conversation, the voice chat audio will be attached to the report. Both the report and the audio will be sent to Epic Game moderators for review. Only the last five minutes will be uploaded. Epic can only access the voice chat audio that is reported with Voice Reporting. Epic cannot access any voice chat audio unless Voice Reporting is on and a report has been submitted.
