Why am I getting a Secure Boot validation error when I try to participate in a Fortnite tournament?

If you are receiving the error "You were removed from the match due to Easy Anti-Cheat error: TPM Attestation failed: Unable to verify Secure Boot. Event missing from Measured Bootlog" or "Boot validation failed: PCR mismatch" when trying to participate in a Fortnite tournament, make sure that your system BIOS is up-to-date and that you have TPM and Secure Boot enabled:

Also, make sure that Secure Boot is not in Audit Mode in your BIOS settings.

If your BIOS is up-to-date and correctly configured, then your hardware's current TPM does not meet our security standards, and you may need to upgrade your hardware to participate in these tournaments.
