Receiving IS-RE-IZ04 error

If you receive the IS-RE-IZ04 error, try the following steps in order before reinstalling.

Step 1: Verify your game files

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher and go to your Library.
2. Find Fortnite and click the three dots beneath it.
3. Select Manage, then click Verify.
4. Once complete, restart Fortnite.

Step 2: Check available disk space

• Make sure you have at least 10 GB of free space on the drive where Fortnite is installed.

Step 3: Clear local game data and re-verify

1. Close Fortnite and the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Press Windows key + R, type %localappdata% and press Enter.
3. Right-click the FortniteGame folder and select Delete. If you cannot delete it, restart your PC and try again.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Open the Epic Games Launcher as Administrator and verify your game files again (Step 1).
