How can I check if my account is banned from Fortnite?
If you are unsure whether your account has any active Fortnite bans, there are a few options that you can use to confirm it.
For bans outside Fortnite or other Epic Games titles, visit How do I appeal an Easy Anti-Cheat ban?
Launching Fortnite
You can easily check if your account is banned by logging into Fortnite.
If your account is banned, a message such as "You have been banned from Fortnite" will pop up. This in-game notification can also show details for the type of ban and duration.
If you try to open the game through the Epic Games Launcher, the game may also appear as unavailable.
Checking your email address
Whenever a ban is applied, an email outlining the type of ban, duration, and the violated community rule is sent to your account's email address.
Visiting the Sanctions and Appeals Portal
By accessing the Sanctions and Appeals Portal (Opens in a new tab), you can check if there are any active bans on your account and, if applicable, submit an appeal for review.
If you have not received an email follow up on your ban appeal review, you can check the ban status here (Opens in a new tab). Alternatively, you can check your ban status by following the steps below:
Select the Sanctions and Appeals option.
Click Go to my Sanctions & Appeals.
Click the Sign In button to sign into your Epic Games account.
Ensure you are logging in the correct Epic Games account you play Fortnite with.
The Sanctions applied to your account are seen here, along with the ban status and duration. You can search by entering the Sanction ID.
