Get started with Fortnite Festival Mobile
Fortnite Festival on mobile is designed for touch controls and quick gameplay. This guide walks you through features to help you play smoothly.
When you launch Fortnite Festival on mobile for the first time, you will enter the Tune Up experience. During setup, tap anywhere on the screen to complete each step and follow the prompts to learn how inputs work during gameplay. If available, we recommend using a Bluetooth headset during Tune Up.
If you have already completed Tune Up, you can access it again:
- Open the More Options menu in the top left.
- Select Tune Up.
Mobile controls
Fortnite Festival on mobile uses touch-based controls.
- Tap notes directly when they overlap the targets
- Slide your finger to adjacent lanes when nearby notes enter the target area.
- Hold notes when required to complete sustained inputs.
You will feel haptic feedback during gameplay to match your actions, such as tapping, holding notes, and activating Overdrive.
Gameplay
Screen orientation
During gameplay, your device switches to portrait mode. After finishing a setlist and returning to backstage, your device returns to landscape mode.
Use Overdrive
Overdrive can be activated in two ways:
- Swipe up from a played note.
- Tap the on-screen Overdrive button.
Haptic feedback indicates when Overdrive starts and ends.
After a setlist
After completing a setlist, you will see your results and quest progress. This helps you track your performance and rewards as you continue playing.
Use the Tips menu
For additional help, refer to the in-game Tips menu:
- Open the More Options menu.
- Select Tips.
The Tips menu includes guidance specific to mobile gameplay and is updated with helpful information. If you are unsure how a feature works, check the Tips menu for quick guidance.
